Itinerary

Enjoy a fun day out on the ocean, engaging with turtles, marine life and nature with our ecologically conscious Swim with Turtles Tour! Our tour begins with a 20min boat ride to Cook Island Aquatic Reserve (Joongurra-Narrian). The reserve lies approximately 600m off the shore of Fingal Head, NSW. It is a foraging ground to a significant number of sea turtles. The numbers are so significant that the island was originally named Turtle Island. It is here that we will dive in and meet these turtally awesome locals! The surrounding waters of the reserve are also home to a wide variety of subtropical and temperate species of fish, crustaceans, and rays – just to name a few! Prepare to be awed by the magical underwater world that lies here on our doorstep! CANCELLATION POLICY: If you wish to cancel or reschedule your tour, you must contact us by phone at least 24 hours before your tour start time. Late cancellations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. REFUND POLICY: We are unable to refund the booking or card fees you may incur if a full refund is granted.

Magical experience with turtles and manta ray

Wow! What an experience. I feel so lucky to get the chance to see such beautiful creatures in their habitat in an ethical way. We were lucky enough to see Dolphins, sea turtles, leopard shark, and a manta ray which is so rare! The team were amazing - They are so knowledgeable about the wildlife and it’s a pleasure to see that they genuinely care about the creatures. I would 100% recommend this company to snorkel. In our group, there were beginners as well as experienced snorkellers so anyone would be welcome on this tour. Thank you so much team for this experience that will be a memory to last forever.

Highly recommended ethical experience

This experience is highly recommended, Cass and Lochie were fabulous tour guides, friendly and informative we felt at ease and safe at all times. On the way out to the island we saw a pod of dolphins with a baby, what a special moment this was being able to observe them so closely swimming near the boat! We saw many turtles, lots of different species of colourful fish and even some blue starfish! We spotted a baby turtle swimming amongst the adult turtles which was extra special!

We had an amazing experience with the snorkeling tour! The tour guide was incredibly patient and gave detailed explanations throughout the trip. The snorkeling gear and all other equipment were very clean, and underwater guidance was excellent. We were thrilled to spot dolphins and turtles during the trip. The guide showed exceptional patience with our 5-year-old son, making it an unforgettable experience for our family. After the tour, we realized we had lost some items, and their quick response and assistance in helping us retrieve them were impressive.
