Overview

Enjoy a 2-1/2 hours cooking class in our school in Sorrento center. We only accomodate small groups up to 12 people or private classes. You'll get a hands-on training from a local chef learning old cooking techniques that can easily be repeated at home. You'll discover our traditions and learn historical tips about our unique cuisine. End your experience eating the delicacies you have prepared! You can choose between 3 menus, focused either on meat, fish or vegetables (suitable for vegetarians).

Great time and good fun!

Chef Antonio is amazing and personable. The classes are fun. My 20yr old daughter had a blast. Recipes are delicious, yet simple enough to make at home. I highly recommend this experience!

The food was fantastic - shell fish whole fish shrimp and pasta. Everything was lined up perfectly to make the meal. The food was super fresh and we received the recipes. Our chef was very personable and funny and made it a great experience for us.

We had a spectacular cooking class lunch with Tony and his son and wife. Tony made us feel right at home and made the entire experience so very wonderful. He had been first and engineer for 20’years and had travelled often to Texas - hence his good English. He then decided to come home when he turned 50 - ‘life is too short to just work’. He worked at a restaurant for many years to get his skills then decided to start teaching visitors how to make wonderful Italian dishes. He also taught us about life in Sorrento. The dishes were simple - tiramisu to chill then chicken cacciatore with homemade pasta. Each dish was easy with wonderful flavor. He also educated us on things like how to cook correctly with extra virgin olive oil. The temperature is critical and much hotter than we usually use. The pasta was simple but can be used for just about any meal - just roll and cut it differently. He had each of us do a different part of the cooking - all hands on - which was so much fun!! Finally we ate and the food had so much flavor and the taste combinations were fabulous! And we had made it ourselves. We took the class with another couple and both couples were Newlyweds! How fun. We enjoyed talking about our travels and our future time in Italy. We will never forgot our wonderful cooking experience!!
