Overview

This is a coastal tour along the seaside villages east of Kalamata. From the beach of the Messinian capital to the coastal villages of the municipality of West Mani such as Almyros, Mikri Mantinia, Paleochora, Akrogiali, Santova and Kitries, we discover numerous small beaches, spectacular rock formations and turquoise waters. At a distance we get a sight of the foothills of mount Taygetos and on our side constantly lies mount Kalathio, a mountain that literally touches the sea..

Itinerary

Paddle along the coastline and enjoy the beautiful area. Enjoy our local products pic nic on a remote beach and snorkel around the crystal clear sea. Return back to the starting point to finish the activity.

  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
  • The activity includes a 30 minutes preparation time, 2 to 2.5 hours paddling exploration, 1 to 1.5 hours free time for picnic, relaxation, snorkelling, swimming, diving and other activities.
  • We recommend you take with you: water, hat, sun cream, towel, swimsuit, extra pair of shoes that will get wet. Suitable shoes are lightweight trainers, flip flops, sandals or sea shoes. Avoid bulky shoes.
  • Please note we reserve the right to modify or cancel any outdoor activity due to bad weather or technical difficulties.

Fantastic Experience

Brilliant day sea kayaking. I had never done this before. I was part of a small group booked on this. Our guide was amazing and fun. He was very experienced, very safety conscious and got us all kitted comfortably in life jackets that fitted before we started. He was entertaining and knowledgeable, supported us all and took great photos so we didn't need to! A super experience and highly recommended.

We had the most amazing day! Our guide was so friendly and shared so many facts and stories about the city and culture. Can’t beat the beautiful views! Definitely recommend for those wanting to see the sights in an unconventional way. We loved it!

Honestly, this was the best day! I was fairly nervous beforehand but Rock our instructor was incredible and gave very practical and easy tips for how to make the paddle boarding easier and more enjoyable. His local knowledge was extensive and the picnic lunch was perfect. He even gave us tips of some great restaurants in the area and more suggestions of places to explore. This area of Greece is blessed with beautiful scenery, quiet, calm beaches and crystal clearwater our adventure out on the surf was one of the highlights of our holiday. And I would certainly recommend this to anyone.

What an amazing trip we had. the guides were informative, and considerate for us oldies. 3 ladies over 60. the water in the morning was so calm, but gave us excitement on the return with a bit more swell.
