Body Surfing: Body surfing is part of the Rafting package at no extra cost.
Duration: 4 hours: It is 45 minute drive and 30 minutes to get ready and about 3 hours on the river.
Refreshment: Some Chips and Soft Drinks
Jeep or Bus: We provide transport in Private vehicles to start point and from finish back to our office.
All the Rafting equipment: Rafts, LIfe jackets, Paddles and Helmets

  • We don't serve any meals or drinking water on our rafting trip. You should bring your own drinking water and we finish rafting by lunch time in Rishikesh.

Overview

Marine Drive down rafting trip is fixed departure for every day so it is easy to join this trip. It is grade 3 stretch with couple of grade 3+ rapids. It means it is easy stretch as well as fun. We take non swimmer rafting as well. Our trips are not run as single boat on the river. We always have a safety kayaker accompanying the rafts so incase any one fall off the boat, safety kayaker can help him/her to get back to the boat/ raft. 26km rafting covers around 10 rapids including small and big ones. It starts at 9am form our office and finish around 1:00pm. it is about an hour long drive to get to the starting point and then 30 minutes to get ready and about 3 hours on the river including small refreshment break.

Itinerary

Rafting starting point is little ahead of Glass house on the Ganges so we drive you 26km from our office to starting point next to Glass house on the Ganges.

Ganga Rafting 26 k

Well organized, kind and knowledgeable staff on top of everything. Great fan half a day on the river with some rapids and also time to jump in the water and go with the flow of the river. Overall a great experience I’d recommend. Great value for money.

Recommend to book from redchili adventure. They have trained rafters with highest level of safety. They provide costumes specially for winter. Guide are very friendly and make your experience amazing.

The entire experience was world class. I have done adventure sports in a lot of places abroad and in India. In India I have often seen less focus on safety but Red Chillies proved me wrong. They were very very focused on safety- did a proper briefing, had a kayak rider separately in case required for rescue, ensured that all fun we had was safe. The 26Km stretch is a perfect mix of serenity and adventure.
