Overview

This is an excursion that I particularly like, you will discover magnificent sites, as rich as they are varied, which border the northern coast! Horcón, an adorable fishing village where boats are pulled out of the water by horses. You will have lunch in Maitencillo, a seaside resort with multiple pools of calm and crystalline waters, suitable for swimming, fishing and diving. You will take the Cachagua-Zapallar coastal walk, a marvel of trail built between the rocks that offer magnificent views.

Itinerary

  • Roca Oceanica

    Nature sanctuary, breathtaking views of Valparaiso and the millenary dunes of Concón from a height of 120 m high!

  • Caleta Horcon

    Horcón is one of the most picturesque fishing villages on the entire central coast of Chile. Located in a protected bay, the boats are pulled out of the water using horses.

  • Maitencillo

    Lunch at Maitencillo seaside resort, opposite the fish market.

  • Isla Cachagua

    The coastal promenade where you will discover the beautiful beach “Las Cujas” and the Penguin Island of Humboldt, declared a Natural Reserve.

  • Zapallar

    The most exclusive resorts in the country, Zapallar and Cachagua, resorts that stand out for their luxury homes, gardens and landscapes.

  • Museo Lord Cochrane

    It takes between 1h and 1h30 for the return to Valparaiso. We will pass through the "Joyful Valley" or "Valle Alegre".

Every aspect was amazing.

The tour itself was amazing. The north coast is a must see. Reach stop/town had its own special story and charm. Our guide, Vincent was nothing short of brilliant. He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and patient with our many questions about Chile and all that we were seeing. We would go on any tour he was handling.

The tour was really great. We stopped at few different places (Zapaillar, Horcon, Maitencillo and to Isla Los Pinguinos Cachagua), all very unique and charming. Vincent is very knowledgeable about Valparaiso and the region and we learnt a lot from him. He is an excellent guide, very attentive to the needs of its guests and I warmly recommend him!
