Explore the breathtaking rock forest of Meteora at dusk. Ride through the orthodox castles chasing the golden sunset colors. A mesmerizing riding experience at the quietest hour of the day. Release your senses… breath, smell, and listen to everything. This tour, for sure, will leave an unforgettable memory.

Itinerary

  • Meteora

    We meet in front of our office, right in the center of the lovely town of Kalampaka. We pick and adjust our bikes and equipment. Your tour leader will lead you out on a 3-hour sightseeing tour by e-bike. See all the remaining active monasteries with stories about tradition, history, and landmarks you see along the route. We will take short breaks for pictures and chat and as the sun slowly sets behind the mountains we will stop and enjoy the most amazing sunset from the best spot in Meteora. Groups are small, with a maximum of 9 people and your smiling local tour leader. Other things to note We offer a variety of bike sizes so everyone will find the right bike.

    We ride through Kastraki and we stop at the end of the village where your tour leader will give you information and answer your questions.

  • Holy Monastery of Saint Nicholas Anapafsas at Meteora

    A short stop at the Monastery for pictures and chat.

    A short stop near the Monastery to enjoy the views, take pictures, and chat.

  • Varlaam Monastery

    Stop for snacks and to take in the views of the two biggest monasteries of Meteora, Varlaam, and the Great Meteoron.

  • Holy Trinity Monastery (Agia Triada)

    Another stop for one of the most panoramic viewpoints of the area.

  • Iera Moni Agiou Stefanou

    One of the most panoramic viewpoints of the area. Great views of the rock system of Meteora, the monasteries, and the plain of Thessaly.

  • Kalambaka

    We stop at the most panoramic spot of Meteora, stay there to enjoy the sunset and the mesmerizing views, and then start riding back to Kastraki and Kalambaka. Coasting down the hills, we always have opportunities for new photos. Back to base. Thanks for joining us!

A great way to see Meteora

This was great experience. All 6 monasteries and plenty of other history all while cycling effortlessly on an ebike to these seemingly inaccessible places. Sadly, no sunset today due to weather but the views were still outrageously good. Vasilis was an excellent guide, tending to all our needs and checking in all the way.

Vasilis as a guide is a stroke of luck! We really enjoyed the sunset tour on the e-bikes - all in all a professionally run company and very friendly employees! All requests were taken into account and many questions were answered very competently! You can see the love for the Metéora nature and mountain landscape. Fabulous way to see Meteora and the sunset. Theo was a great guide, very informative and the views were spectacular, loved every minute of the ride and would highly recommend. We booked the afternoon of the ride and Vasisilis and his team were very accommadating. The ebikes made it very easy too.

The best way to experience Metaora

We took an electrical biking tour in Metaora with Vasilis. This was the highlight of our tour in Greece. He is an exceptional guide, loves what he does, besides the monestrys took us to places that do not appear in books. He is patient and extremely knowledgeable. If you are on the area don't miss this amazing experience. You will defenetly be rewarded with a one lifetime experience.
