My son (11) and I were doing a tour with Oatfield Huskies on a Saturday morning. It was a super amazing experience - they were waiting for us with warm Overalls and the Husky Crew of 12 happy and highly motivated dogs already super excited about the idea to have a sledding g tour with us. During the ride which took almost 3h Naomi told us everything about each dog‘s character and preferences, and how they came to the farm. We learnt so much about sled dogs and could see by ourselves how much they enjoy what they are doing and how much love and attention they get from Ben and Naomi, who have dedicated their lives to raising sled dogs, living with them, doing long distance races and teaching visitors like us about these exciting creatures. Really the most authentic experience we can recommend to anyone who is into animals, nature and typical Lapland experiences.
