    Discover the National Park of the Caldera de Taburiente on foot. A protected area of volcanic nature but distinguished by the large amount of water resources it has, both underground and surface. - Discover the Caldera de Taburiente, considered the most emblematic natural wonder of the island. - You will fall in love with the different landscapes that this high-level walking route offers. - Don't forget to bring your swimsuit, as there is the possibility of swimming along the route.

Excellent hike down into the caldera

We took the guided walk down into the caldera de taburiente. It was a very well-organised walk and on a beautiful sunny day the experience was fabulous. The walk is 16 km, mostly downhill on gravelly tracks, so concentration is required. That said, one of our group with 2 artificial hips was able to finish the walk. I recommend strong hiking boots although younger members of the group managed with trainers.
