Overview

Exciting and unique experience, history, culture, art and food and wine in unique and unforgettable places. The tour is unique, with the comfortable e-bikes we cross the centuries during which Orvieto has become a jewel: the Rocca di Albornoz, the visit to the Underground, the Piazza del Duomo with a stop at the Foresi winery, the visit to the Piazza del Popolo with the beautiful Palazzo del Popolo, the alleys with the workshops of the artisans who have handed down an ancient art for generations, the Piazza della Repubblica with the church of Sant' Andrea where all the civilizations that have overlapped are clearly visible. Then the Church of San Giovenale from 1006, the stop on the terrace which looks south-west over an extraordinary panorama, the medieval quarter and finally the tour of the Confaloniera around the cliff. With e-bikes it is beautiful, ecological and fun, suitable for everyone, a form of "slow tourism" to live an experience to remember and tell.

    Visit to the undergrounds of Orvieto, the Underground excavated in the tuff from the Etruscan age: in these sites you can read the millennia of history of this place. Visits organized by qualified and professional guides.

    Piazza del Duomo in Orvieto, to admire and photograph one of the most admired Cathedrals in the world. Stop at Cantina Foresi, tasting of local wines and tasting of typical products comfortably seated in front of the Duomo.

    Walk with e-bikes to the Rocca di Albornoz, from where you can admire an extraordinary panorama over the valley of the Paglia River and Mount Peglia

    We enter the medieval quarter, the oldest in the city, to go to the ancient Cathedral of San Giovenale with the beautiful 12th century frescoes

Beautiful day

We had a wonderful morning with Paolo on the bikes! It was a wonderful way to explore this beautiful town. The bikes were well maintained and I found that I barely needed to pedal (especially as most of the ride was downhill!). Paolo shared some wonderful history with us - all things we wouldn’t have known if we visited the town on our own. After the bikes, he handed us off to a tour of the underground which was fascinating. We closed the day with a lunch where we were treated to a full meal and a lot of wine. Overall it was a wonderful day in a beautiful location and I would highly recommend it.

Our tour guide was fantastic! His knowledge of the history of this town is incredible. I have never learned so much on a tour before. The E-Bikes are so fun. I read the reviews and knew what to expect, so it was such a fun day. We ended our time touring the underground caves and finished with a great lunch. Would recommend this tour to anyone!

Paulo was great with his lesson in the history of Orvieto. The meal at the restaurant was fantastic and the hosts amazing. A great way to top off a great bike tour.

It was all very fun. Guide gave us a great picture of the history of Orvieto. We loved the scenery, the tour of the caves and the appetizers and wine from the family restaurant.
