Overview

The introduction session will take approximately 4 hours. This is partly theory about diving, the dangers and how to dive safely. After this theory session you'll go to the tugboat dive spot or dive at Caracasbaai with the possibility of Turtles. This is open water, but the first part is defined as confined water. When everybody is comfortable, you'll descend one by one to work on equalization and to perform the exercises. After this is all done there is a dive tour to a maximum depth of 12 meters.

Itinerary

Introduction in diving and participating in a real dive after the theory. Therefore the theory and some exercises will be explained. After this session we go to the water and get comfortable and perform the exercises. This will be followed with a real dive to a max depth of 12m/40ft.

Awesome Experience

Thanks for a great day with my son. With over 100 dives I had never had one with my son. The team at Curious 2 Dive took. care of my boy and made him feel comfortable and competent in the water. Highly recommend these guys! We will be back.

My daughter and I had a great time - training was straightforward & fast, equipment setup was easy, and we were into the water in less than an hour. Excellent dive: across & along the reef, went to 16m, saw fish/octopus/moray eel. Our dive master was the nicest guy in the world and made sure that we had a great time plus took lots of pictures & filmed & shared all afterwards. 100% recommended and we will use again if back.

Divers and snorkelers paradise.

Great dive operator! Our group was a mix of divers and snorkelers, and they accommodated us very well. We had a great series of shore dives. Plenty of corals, sea life, and a wrecks. Despite the strong winds, the area is beautifully sheltered.

We took the open water diving course during our vacation with Curious 2 dive and we had a great experience. The instructors were knowledgeable and professional. Also very patient as we had tons of questions before we even started and we were always answered promptly! They made us feel comfortable from beginning to end! We looking forward to diving again, thanks to everything we’ve learned with Curious 2 dive!

Great little place. The guys at curious 2 dive are super knowledgeable and fun. Felt very safe the whole time. Started off with the intro to diving, loved it so much that my daughter and I continued to the open water program. Joey and Hans made learning very easy and fun. By the end of the week we both finished our open water certification!! Highly recommend these guys if you’re planning on diving in the Jan thiel area of Curacao.
