    Our next stop is Inveraray Castle, the ancestral seat of the Dukes of Argyll -Chiefs of the Clan Campbell whose family have resided in Inveraray since the early 15th century. The Castle’s fairytale façade house’s an equally fascinating interior. Alternatively, you can choose to visit Inveraray Jail and courthouse, an award-winning museum that graphically recounts prison conditions from medieval times up until the 19th century. You can also enjoy a delicous lunch from one of many local quality eateries. The ideal family or small group day tour.

A comfortable pleasant trip with a friendly and knowledgeable local guide. Very punctual. In fact he was there almost half an hour earlier. Texted us before the meeting time. Allowed a lot of flexibility as we were a small group of four, and we managed to set off earlier. He drove us to added tourist spots as time allowed.
