Outstanding Cooking Class + Fishmarket visit in Lima – An Unforgettable Experience! This cooking class was simply exceptional! Our adventure began as early as 4 AM with a visit to the fish market, where we selected the freshest fish and seafood for our meal later in the day. The entire experience was flawlessly organized, everything ran smoothly, and the passion behind it was truly evident. What impressed me the most was the warm, family-like atmosphere – you instantly feel welcome and well taken care of. But the absolute highlight was, of course, the food: The fish and seafood were of a quality I had never experienced before. Even though I usually don’t eat much seafood, this meal was simply spectacular – fresh, perfectly prepared, and incredibly flavorful. This cooking class is an absolute must for anyone visiting Lima who wants to experience something truly special in the culinary world!

It was a fantastic experience from the moment we booked, the communication and coordination prior to our arrival, the market visit and cooking class, the FOOD, and continuing through to the afterglow we felt when it was all over… or was that the chilcanos and pisco sours? Either way, we could not have been happier. Our family of five arrived in Lima late in the evening, including three twenty something children, and we were looking forward to starting our exploration of Perú. Hector was an excellent guide on our journey and if we could give this 6 stars we would! The food was amazing and the class was a hands on experience like no other. We learned new techniques and experienced flavors and textures galore. It was a great first day in Lima where food was the vehicle through which we learned about the history, dynamic culture and fusion of cultures which is Perú.

I highly recommend this class. Market shopping and cooking with Hector is like hanging out with an old friend...if your friend was an insanely good chef! Everyone had a great time, great views (rooftop kitchen), and no-one went hungry -- there was enough for 3 extra people! This is a unique and fun experience.

Had a wonderful cooking class with Ricardo and Hector. Because of a strike, my visit to the market was shorter but worth it. From the pick up to my hotel to the food and the patience to answer all my questions, everything was great I cook a lot at home but Peruvian food is mostly new to me so I learned a lot during the class to hopefully reproduce at home some of the dishes I’ve eaten since my arrival in Lima a few days before
