Excellent Coffee Farm Experience

This was one of the best tours that we took on our 3 week tour of Columbia. We loved how much that we learned on this experience. Our guide also gave us great information about the region which enhanced our trip as well. We have been on several coffee tours around the world and this experience was different and added to our overall appreciation for coffee growers and coffee overall.

Unique Coffee Tour Experience!

We highly recommend the coffee tour! We really enjoyed the fresh and delicious brew coffee provided before and after the tour, wearing the traditional hat, poncho and basket to pick coffee, the path was easy to navigate, the tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful with any questions or concerns. Our favorite part was processing our own picked coffee, followed by meeting the farmer's wife who wore a traditional attire and displayed the steps to brew fresh coffee at the farm.

Best tour ever by Julian!!! It was a great experience, really enjoyed it. Make sure to wear walking shoes and comfortable clothing for a lot of walking! The walkways are beautiful.

Even though I had visited el Eje Cafero in the past, this was a new experience with family and friends. We were wonderfully surprised. Our guide Robin was truly the best. He had so much information and so much attention to detail. We were expecting a short tour with the basics, and it ended up being a 2 1/2 hour walk through the whole finca, Robin pointed out so many different things to help us gain knowledge and experience on coffee growing. He took his time and then another other group that was behind us caught up with us and he just allow them to go through and move on so that we could stop and actually taste oranges that he found on an orange tree on the path what a nice thing for him to do. At the end of the tour you go in the house and actually do the process with the coffee that you collected. There’s a coffee tasting that was really really interesting as they also show you how to know the difference between coffees and the way they were made overall an amazing experience, a 5 Star for Robin definitely recommend for anybody visiting whether is family with kids or solos or couples it doesn’t matter. It’s always bound to be a good experience.
