Although half a day could never be enough to absorb all that is Bologna, with a host by your side, you can make the most of the time you have. Float on cloud nine as you nibble on a pistachio biscuit, drink prosecco at a bar with tables scattered across a piazza or get your walking shoes on and take in all the big sites like the Fontana di Nettuno, Piazza Maggiore and Basilica di San Petronia. Your host can’t wait to share their home’s highlights and hidden gems with you so, arrivederci and see you on the other side! Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded host. My time with Mico was absolutely fantastic. He knows so much about the history, background and current status of bologna that he could fill several books. He was professional he was entertaining. He was very funny and made the entire tour one of the best I’ve ever taken. Everyone would be lucky to have him as your guide. He truly made the entire city and it’s past, and what it has to offer now totally come alive. Plus, the fact he knows the best gelato in the world. That we only spent a few hours together I consider him a friend and hopefully when I return to visit this fabulous city he will be there. If I could have, I would have taken several more of his tours!!!!
