This incredible Circle Island Tour takes guests through Kona coffee country, visits the world-famous Punalu’u Black Sand Beach and explores all the beauty of Hilo, Akaka Falls and Waipio Valley. This is the newest and most-exciting truly circle island tour on the island!  This tour showcases Kona’s best views, the Big Island’s best coastline views with all the stops at the must-see locations!  Go Deluxe Today!  In our Mercedes Sprinter Passenger van, we’ll drive through the historic Kona district in the heart of Kona Coffee Country.  At Kona Joe’s coffee farm, take a quick behind-the-scenes look at some of the most unique coffee growing techniques and sample bold yet smooth Kona Joe’s coffee overlooking Kealakekua Bay. Enjoy spectacular views, taste award-winning coffee and take home a collector’s coffee mug only found at Kona Joe. Leaving coffee country, enjoy spectacular coastline views to the Ka’u district. There, we’ll stop in at the Southernmost bakery in the United States – Punalu’u Bakery! Enjoy the freshest Portuguese donuts (malasada) or take some rainbow bread with you to the Black Sand Beach at Punalu’u. This uniquely stunning beach is home to many nesting Hawaiian seat turtles (honu) and the place where many early Polynesian explorers came ashore. From there, we’ll enjoy and fantastic lunch at historic Kilauea Lodge!  Choose from four entrees, sides, a non-alcoholic beverage of your choice and even dessert!  After lunch, we’ll explore downtown Hilo, Rainbow Falls, Akaka Falls and the most beautiful view of them all – Waipio Valley!  Finally, leave the driving to us as we follow the sun back to your hotel in time for sunset. Awesome trip to volcano

Wonderful trip…due to our guide (Derek) who was friendly, knowledgeable, good driver and flexible since volcano started erupting while we were en route. Coffee location was alright; they were quite busy, but we did get to try several different roasts of Kona coffee. Black sand beach was good place for picnic lunch (picnic tables and bathroom, sandwiches were as ordered) and awesome green turtle viewing. Lava tube was really cool, but it was the volcano that made the day. In AM expectations were set; volcano had paused. We were so excited to see the situation had changed during the day. Derek quickly adjusted the itinerary and took us back after dinner to view volcano again from a closer location. Dinner at Kilauea lodge was good and better than expected, esp the veg option (tofu).

This is a new coffee shop in Mazamet and is run by an enthusiastic group of "youngsters" making a mark on the high street. Excellent coffee, snacks, both sweet and savoury, including a brunch. All home cooked. Outstanding value. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Highly Immersive Cultural Experience

We could not do our originally booked tour due to an emergency medical issue and after some back and forth they agreed to reschedule us. It turned out amazing as we had the luxury van and others that were supposed to be on the tour dropped at the last minute. Our guide Kawika was local born and provided a rich commentary and unbelievable insights to the sights toured. And the absolute best part was that Kileua had started erupting that morning with a rare 200 ft lava fountain. We were treated to a very immersive cultural experience due to Kawika and are tremendously grateful for the day he provided. Highly recommend this tour. It was a memorable day for our family.

Top Notch Tour

Although we have been to the Big Island many times, we learned about and saw many things that were new to us. Dave, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable, kind and fun. Our group (from seniors to children) were delighted, entertained and most of all, learned about Hawaiian culture and history. This was money well spent and we would do it all over again!
