Please note that the itinerary outlined is a SAMPLE of potential destinations that could be included in the tour. Experience Mount Rainier's highlights on a day tailored to you. Our TripAdvisor "Hall of Fame" guides run the only day tours permitted to explore more than a mile from the park road as the National Park is ecologically important & delicate. The U.S. Park Service restricts other tour companies - our competitors offer "road tours." We are professional nature educators (not just bus drivers) that have dedicated our lives to artful travel. Our all-inclusive small-group day trip is limited to just 10 travelers.

We'll pick you up where you're staying in Downtown Seattle including hotels and airbnbs!. If you are staying outside our legal pick up zone, we are happy to meet you at our default pick up location—Sheraton Grand (1400 6th Ave). If you're unsure whether your hotel or rental is part ... of the downtown corridor, give us a call and we can confirm whether your hotel is included! We also make quick stops near SeaTac Airport or Tacoma when requested. We will call/text/email the afternoon of the day prior to your tour to confirm your pick-up location and exact pick-up time. Itinerary

  • Mount Rainier National Park

    Stroll through the old-growth forests near Longmire and experience waterfalls and big mountain views as you wind to higher elevations.

  • Christine Falls Viewpoint

    Short walk to a postcard view of Christine Falls.

  • Narada Falls

    Several waterfalls are accessible by foot along the route up the mountain! Narada Falls is one of our favorites.

  • Paradise Valley

    In the summer, pick wild berries on a sub-alpine hiking trail. In the winter, take advantage of Paradise’s legendary snowfall (and the winter solitude) on an introductory snowshoe trail.

  • Henry M. Jackson Visitor Center

    Paradise is home to a world-class visitor's center with interpretive information on the National Park.

  • Myrtle Falls

    An impressive waterfall in the midst of Paradise's iconic meadows, Myrtle Falls is at the end of an easily walkable trail with almost constant views of Mt Rainier's peak.

  • Reflection Lakes

    A possible stop near Paradise, Reflection Lakes are renowned for the postcard views of Mt Rainier over the mirror-like lake.

  • Longmire Museum

    A historic area of Mt Rainier National Park, Longmire is home to its museum, bubbling mineral springs, and trails meandering through the surrounding old-growth forest. The museum is a great stop for souvenirs, cocoa, and a quick bathroom break.

  • Trail of the Shadows

    Giant old-growth spruce trees clustered around bubbling mineral springs and views of Mt. Rainier's peak make this short loop trail a favorite among groups visiting the park.

  • Twin Firs Loop Trail

    Another favorite in the Longmire Area, Twin Firs boasts massive trees that tower over visitors.

    Experience views of the mountain peak throughout your day. Mt Rainier can be seen from many of our stops.

Great Experience

This was a wonderful way to experience the natural beauty of Mount Rainer and the surrounding area. I was staying downtown, with no car and found the pick up option to be extremely convenient. Our tour guide was wonderful! I couldn’t have asked for a better group to jump into solo and explore with. The food provided was delicious, everyone kept commenting on how good it was. I would absolutely recommend this tour.

I cannot recommend this tour enough! Brent was fantastic and provided excellent paths and knowledge throughout the guide. Booking was easy, equipment for snowshoeing was provided, and snacks throughout the trip. Your tour guide also picks/drops you off and sets up drinks and lunch. My only recommendation would be to change up the lunch or bring your own if you're on the picky side!

I can't say enough good things about this tour -- by far the best we've ever been on! It definitely helps that the weather was perfect, and we could see Mt. Rainier all day - at every stop! Our tour guide, Brent, was excellent! He gave us plenty of information but kept it interactive and curbed it to the interests of the group. He didn't lecture, and there wasn't a single time during the trip I wish I brought head phones to tune him out (like other tours) :) We had a young, fun group, which also helped. We were able to hike quite a few trails, and see tons of breathtaking views. This was the highlight of our 8 day vacation - both of our favorite part! Thanks Brent and our new friends from the tour for an unforgettable experience -- it was perfect!

Magical Snow with amazing waterfalls

Amazing trip with a great tour group and a knowledgeable guide Marty for the day to Mount Rainier. We encountered snow, some rain, saw breathtaking waterfalls and hiked in the snow. Thanks to Marty for the tips on how to navigate the slippery slopes at times when I doubted if I could do it without falling down. The walks needed a bit of stamina but it was all worthwhile. Lunch was delicious and so happy to have this wonderful trip. Thank you!

Booked the all-inclusive Mt. Rainier hike tour. Unfortunately because of winter weather there were a lot of roads that were closed that limited our access to the national park. But our guide Marty adapted, gave us the best options available to us which eventually led to an absolutely fun 4 hour hike, and gave us above and beyond service, great information, and adapted the experience based on varying needs and preferences of our small group. Plenty of great snacks, great lunch, and really great experience!
