Itinerary

Our class located in the west side of ubud, the place surrounded by green area and atmosphere of a countryside. When we arrive, we will take you to visit one of traditional market tour and buy some spices from the local (morning class only), then we will take you to one of the local house to see and know more about Balinese culture, life style and how the placed the building at the house. Then we will take you to our farm to start the class, after we decided for the menu that we will cook, we will take you to explore the farm and harvest the spices that we will use during the class. after that our balinese chef will show you how to make authentic balinese food with fresh ingredients that we picked in the farm. During the class, you will learn about the techniques that used in balinese way of cooking, such as chopping and pounding spices with Lesung (mortar and pestle), then the chef will explain you more about how to cook, how many ingredients that will use and what else do it need to cook based on the menu option. We have variety of menu such vegetarian and vegan or regular menu which is you could choose during the class.

Great Vibes and Great Food

Fabulous!!! We were able to have a private class with Ron and Teddy and they were amazing. So much fun and great food! The food was absolutely delicious, we were salivating waiting to eat it all. I would highly recommend doing this class!! We also got to see the Balinese villages which was very interesting to learn about pre cooking class!

Just incredible! Highly highly recommend. We had the best time learning about Balinese home life, culture and cooking. We drove from Uluwatu to do the session and don’t regret it one bit. A must do in Bali

I had an incredible time at Ron's Balinese cooking class! He’s an amazing host who made us feel right at home from the start. Ron greeted us with a refreshing welcome drink and some tasty snacks, and he took the time to explain the Balinese home culture, making the experience even more special. His English was excellent, which made learning the recipes so easy and enjoyable. Ron's great sense of humor and relaxed teaching style made the whole class fun and memorable. I highly recommend!

Ron was a great instructor and taught us a lot about balinese culture, and also the different methods of cooking authentic balinese food. he was a great host and answered all our questions thoroughly. the food was great and we really enjoyed ourselves during the entire experience. would highly recommend!

Had an amazing and humourous experience with Ron. Before class starts, we were invited to a Balinese home right beside for welcome drinks and snacks. Meanwhile, we were given insights into cultural aspects of the home, which was interesting and add depth to the overall experience. Be prepared to work up 7 traditional dishes. The taste turned out to be surprisingly good thanks to the "bum-boo". Definitely recommend.
