Discover the traditions behind the famous Pesto sauce and learn to prepare it from a local foodie and cooker at the beautiful Cinque Terre. Merge yourself in a typical Italian atmosphere, in the beautiful Manarola village, meet your friendly local chef and get ready to improve your cooking skills; you will use the freshest ingredients, such as basil and pine nuts. You will learn to prepare the Pesto with the marble mortar, in the most traditional way, while learning curiosities about Ligurian culinary traditions. At the end of the class, take a sit and enjoy the fruits of your labor with your friends and family. You'll taste pesto with fresh home made focaccia and a glass of local white wine. This experience is one not to be missed. Every bit of it was was just FANTASTIC ! it is a must.. We had so much fun and got to learn how to make PESTO. The host and the staff could not do enough for us and the only disappointing bit was it finished..

This was an absolutely amazing authentic experience !! We are so happy we booked this. The pesto was delicious & you receive the recipe at the end. The host & chef is so gracious & kind. She grows all her own ingredients that we used to make the pesto. I made it once when we arrived back to the states, but have since misplaced the recipe, which makes me so sad. Although simple I cannot recall exactly how it was made & the amounts. We highly recommend doing this wonderful authentic pesto making class!!

What an amazing experience, set in a beautiful Italian kitchen with a very knowledgeable and charming host. Made us all feel very welcome, and the pesto we each made with her home made focaccia was the best I've ever had. Thoroughly recommend this trip.

This is an experience that will make your stay in Cinque Terre that bit more memorable! Our instructor was tremendous how she explained the history, produce and process of making authentic pesto! Would highly recommend!
